Celebrating a Day with the Kinnaird Alumna

We celebrated a day with our Kinnaird alumna, Distinguished Professor and (former) Director of Women and Gender Studies at Montclair State University, Dr. Fawzia Afzal-Khan. Activities included an Interactive Session (“The Postcolonial Turn in Feminist Theatre and Performance,”), Dramatic Readings (Ajoka’s “Amrika Challo,” by Mr. Shahid Nadeem, translated by Afzal-Khan), and Sufiana Kalaam singing by Afzal-Khan.
